Ministry of Health Supported Centralized Procurement of Drugs in Russian Regions

The Ministry of Heatlh supported the proposal advanced by the Health Services Monitoring Foundation concerning centralized procurement of drugs in the Russian regions. This will allow reducing prices for EDL drugs. 

"At the same time, this is just one of a set of measures to be undertaken", - underlined a representative of the Ministry.
Ministry of Industry and Trade Proposed 7-year Procurement Contracts for Patented Foreign Drugs

A 7-year governmental purchase order will fix prices for socially important drugs while motivating foreign manufacturers for localization. 

Denis Manturov, Minister of Industry and Trade, said that "the MInistry supports the approach whereby the Governent should guarantee the purchase of primarily locally manufactured pharmacetuicals. But if local manufacturers lack specific technologies, the govenrment might issue a long-term purchase order in exchange for a localization committement". 
Ministry of Health Published the List of Dosage Form Names

The Draft Ministerial Order has been prepared as a follow up of Federal Law N429-FZ dated 22.12.2014 "On Amendments to Federal Law "On Circulation of Medicines"

This List  includes over 30 names of dosage forms. 

 
Accounts Chamber of Russia Wants to Improve OMS Funding Mechanism

The Russian Accounts Chamber assessed the efficiency of the OMS funding regulations and found that out of 7 regulations and 2 Orders to be prepared by the Russian Ministry of Health the latter prepared only half of the regulations.
